The Mark Twain Lake Vacation Guide is produced by Virtual Images Publications & Design of Paris, Missouri.
20,000 copies of the 2023 edition will be distributed free at the lake’s M.W. Boudreaux Visitor Center, the Mark Twain Shrine in Mark Twain State Park, Corps of Engineer and State Park campgrounds, as well as at numerous area businesses and state and local tourism centers. Because of the target audience it reaches, the special edition is one of Mark Twain Lake’s most effective marketing tools.
The Guide is published once a year and features a magazine-style format, with a full-color glossy cover and includes stories and information about recreational activities in the region. In 2014, distribution was expanded by offering an online version of the publication, along with various links to attractions in the Lake area, as well as links to our advertising partners.
