2020 Mark Twain Lake Deer Hunt for Persons with Disabilities Special Event Cancelled

Mark Twain Lake, August 25, 2020 – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) regretfully announces that the 2020 Mark Twain Lake Deer Hunt for Persons with Disabilities scheduled for November 21 and 22 has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Staff and Public safety are our top priorities, and this cancellation is based on capacity to protect the health, safety and security of the public, our partners, event participants, and USACE employees. The inherent qualities and the highly-regarded outdoor experiences associated with this event creates an environment that is difficult to maintain social distance standards consistent with CDC guidelines and practices.

Thank you for understanding. We look forward to when this event can be held, and this outdoor experience can be shared again.
