The 2018 Mark Twain Lake Deer Hunt for Persons with Disabilities is in the books, and it was another successful one. This was the 31st Special Deer Hunt at Mark Twain Lake. A total of 35 hunters and more than 100 volunteers worked together for the weekend to harvest 23 deer at the Indian Creek Recreation Area. Hunters bagged 13 deer on Saturday and 10 deer on Sunday. They included 12 does, 6 antlered bucks and 5 button bucks. Thanks goes out to everyone involved, especially to our friend, Ruth Behrle Fix, for providing us with these pictures.
